  2. résumé (n.) • a short descriptive summary, as of events • Word Origin: from French, from résumer to resume • curriculum vitae • (British English) A curriculum vitae is a brief written account of your personal details, your education, and jobs you have had, which you send when you are applying for a job. The abbreviation `CV' or ‘C.V.’ is also used.

  3. General Guidelines -1 Highlight your strength and skills. Show how you are qualified for the job, because employers usually only spend 30 seconds or so looking through each resume. Use verbs and numbers. Don’t be rude or patronizing.
