  3. …WHAT THE WORLD NEED……HOPE… The answer of the world to the world • Artificial unity through masses – sport/celebrations etc. • Military solution – killing • Diplomatic solution – talking • Economic solution – utopia • Political solution - promises

  4. Jesus Christ is the only Hope of our Calling

  5. Jesus Christ HOPE OF OUR CALLING In Him, by Him and through Him are all things (Rm.11:36). • Social reconciliation • Decreased drug abuse • Conflict resolution • Crime resolution • Suicide elevation • Ecological vigour • Diminished poverty • Restored hope

Face the Fire FORGIVE to receive forgiveness • Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. • Mat 18:35 "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses." • Luk 23:34 Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Face the FIre I as in me/myself to be laid down. • Gal.2:20 …it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me… • Eph 3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ… • Joh 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

Face the FiRe • RECONCILIATION to be my only ministry. • Col 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father … by Him (Christ) to reconcile all things to Himself (Father), by Him (Christ), whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. • Eph 2:14-18 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…. • 2Co 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and GAVE US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION…

  9. Face the FirE • ENEMIES – Preach the gospel at all times, if necessary, use words. A. LOVE • Mat 19:19 'HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER,' and, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF.' " • Luk 6:27 "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, • Joh 13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.“ • 1 Corinthians 13: Character of a life of LOVE.

BLESS • Luk 6:27-28 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. • Mat 5:44 But I tell you: LOVE your enemies and PRAY for those who persecute you…. • Rom 12:14-16Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. … • Mat 5:3-11 …Blessed are the peacemakers, blessed are those who are persecuted … Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
