  2. plOT: BackGround Information • Princess Rita fall in love with Rama • King Dasaratha decides that Rama will be the heir • However King Dasaratha’s second wife disagree and makes her son, Bharata, king

  3. Plot: Background information Part 2 • She exiles Rama for fourteen years in the forest. • Rama escapes with Sita and his brother Lakshmana. • In the forest the trio kills demons and cut ears and nose of a female demon • Ravana takes revenge by taking Sita

  4. PLOT: Background information Part 3 • When Rama searches for Sita, he makes an alliance with the king of monkeys (Sugreeva) • One of the monkeys become friends with Rama (Hanuma) • Ravana begs for Sita to become his wife, but she protests • Hamuna wants to bring Sita to Rama but refuses • Hamuna goes back to Rama and they go to war against Ravana

  5. Plot: preparing for Battle • Ravana get ready for battle • The gods notice’s Ravana’s determination and gives Rama a chariot • Rama blows a coche called Panchajanyathat was made by Mahavishnu as an acceptance to the challenge • Ravana get angry that the gods favor Rama

  6. Plot: Battle Part 1, Arrows • Ravana bow arrows to Rama • But Rama neutralizes it, so Ravana uses all 10 arms. • Rama stops the attack again • Ravana goes higher in the sky and kills large amount of the monkey army. Rama tries to minimize the attack. • Rama’s chariot is wounded

  7. PloT: Battle Part 2, arrows part 2 • Ravana and Rama flies around the world fighting and fight in Lanka • Rama wounds Ravana but he is uneffected • Ravana then uses arrows with special abilities

  8. PloT: Battle Part 3, Weapons • Ravana decides to use a weapon called Danda that can pulverize targets • However Rama stop it • Ravana uses another weapon called Maya- it can create illusions. • However, Rama stops the illusions since he is an incarnation of Mahavishnu

  9. PloT: Battle Part 4, Weapons part 2 • Rama uses a weapon called Gnana that stops all the illusions • Ravana shot an asthra called Thama and turned the world into darkness. However Rama used another ashtra and counters it • Ravana uses his strongest weapon called trident that was given as a a gift to the gods • Rama could not counter it with arrows. • Rama however did a mantra, and the weapon broke

  10. PloT: Battle Part 5, Weapons Part 3 • Ravana uses another weapon called Garuda and then eagles appeared and kill serpents • Intimidated, Ravanathrows arrows to Rama, but he turns them around and it hits Ravana.

  11. PloT: Battle Part 6, Climax • Ravana is tired and has a weak spirit. Therefore Rama slices Ravana’s head • But they grow back • Ravana falls unconscious and Matali tells Rama to finish him off • But Rama refuses

  12. PloT: Battle Part 6, Conclusion • Rama summons a weapon called Brahmasthra • Rama then stabs Ravana in the heart with the weapon • Rama regrets his decisions but Lakshmana convinces him otherwise. • They have a funeral of Ravana • Ravana goes to heaven
