why set up a new unicef group
Why set up a new UNICEF group?

“Starting a new UNICEF group is a fantastic way to get involved with UNICEF and make a difference to the lives of children all over the world.  It’s also a great

way of meeting new

people in your area.”

Helen Aikman,

Fundraising Initiatives

Officer (FIT Officer),

UNICEF UK

why set up a new unicef group1
Why set up a new UNICEF group?

No experience is necessary to set up a local UNICEF group. All we ask is that you are enthusiastic and passionate about UNICEF’s work and can volunteer some of your time. Your effort can result in big improvements to children’s lives. Our groups are very important to UNICEF and raised an impressive £160,000 in 2007.
