  19. Another popular holiday in Mexico is Las Posadas. Las Posadas takes places on the nine days before Christmas. People reenact the journey of Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem. They celebrate with family and friends each night with the biggest celebration on Christmas Eve.
