  2. Characters • Willow, Willow is helpful. Willow is helpful because when her dog got hurt she helped him the best she could. • Kaliye, Kaylie is supportive. She is supportive because she was dropping school to go help her friend. • Roxy, Roxy is strong because when she got hurt she was strong enough to keep going even though she was blind. • Cora, Cora is another mush dog who is nice. Cora is nice because she would give up things she needed to save Roxy

  3. Summary Diamond Willow is about a girl named Willow. Willow go’s mushing with her sled dogs to her grand parnets house one day. When Willow sees a log she was trying to stop Roxy, but it was to late. Roxy hit her face and was injured badly. The other dogs were fine. Once she gets Roxy to her house she finds out Roxy might die! Read the book to see what happens next!

  4. The Author The Author of this book is Helen Frost. Helen Frost writes this book like it is a poem. She writes it as if Willows dog can speak to Willow. Diamond Willow is Realistic Fiction. Helen Frost can leave things out in the book and say it later.
