Status of Klystron / Modulator 4 & 5 • Klystron 4 (10MW) • Prototype tube installed • Tested at 10MW, 1.5ms, 10Hz • Stable operation up to 8 MW • Upgrading of RF-Interlock forimproved control system interface is under way • ( but necessary computers are not ordered yet) • Work could be finished in 2 months • Klystron 5 (5 MW) • Tested at 120kV, 1.5ms, 1Hz without rf • Upgraded RF-Interlock installed • Still to be done: • Full power rf test • Control system communication (necessary computers are not ordered yet) • Work could be finished in 2 months TTF 2 Review Meeting Schloss Salzau
