  3. Award Structure • Four modules: iPAS,iM,iSDCS, iWTDS

  4. The ‘Staffordshire Graduate’ • Attributes here • Our graduates have had these for years • Now they are formalised • And promised • And (have to be) embedded in core modules • Attributes affirmed and reinforced by time on placement

  5. Work Placements in Computing • 12 months in a real computing job - with pay (£14k) • Some VERY interesting ones • Everyone here can do one • Placements team act as recruitment agency • You are the applicant • FABULOUS experience all round • Sets you apart from other graduates

  6. Advisors (for and to you) • Janice Kalisz (Student Guidance Manager) belongs to Computing in D • Disability Advisors and Support belong to the university and are in D001 • Talk to these people • That is why they are there • Support workers are FAB
