  2. Concordat Action Plan Version 20! • 100 actions • 61 completed • 39 outstanding, but a ‘Continuous’ Action Plan • 3rd formal review • Complex business up-dating across 19 partners

Accountability • MH Crisis Care Concordat Steering Group ►MH & Wellbeing Partnership Board ► report to Glos Health & Wellbeing Board • Steering Group objectives: • Review & monitor progress of Action Plan • Produce updates for Board every ¼ • Membership: VCS Alliance, GCC, Police, CCG, SWASFT, People Lived Experience

  5. 1. Equality Action E.G • Crisis Teams to engage with their local BME communities through developing their outreach capacity e.g. visit local Mosques, invite local Imam into Team,

  6. 2. Commissioning E.G’s • Deliver a new model of Crisis Service in line with commissioning expectations & exploring options for co-location with police • Establish an alternative safe place/place of safety for CYP in MH crisis, plus how to prevent & de-escalate crisis

  7. 3. Pre-Crisis E.G. • Establish a Glos link with the British Transport Police (BTP), involve them in prevention projects to tackle MH & suicidal prevention initiatives

  8. 4. Urgent Access E.G • Lead a review of transport arrangements in the South West Region for people assessed under, or requiring conveyance under the MHA – looking at mode of transport, staffing, access, planned response

  9. 5. Quality of Care in Crisis E.G. • Review of multi-agency S136 Policy, Procedure & Guidance following outcome of DH review of S135/136 & new MHA CoP - to include management/assessment of very intoxicated detainees

  10. 6. Recovery E.G. • Review frequent attendees in the GHT ED & repeat S136 detainees in order to build an understanding of the key characteristics of these groups including any overlaps between the 2 groups with the view to reducing the frequency of repeat ED & 136 people
