  1. Bizarre Legal Situations - Why It Pays to Have a Lawyer and Solicitor in Your Corner Australia and the rest of the world are littered with a variety of bizarre legal situations, whether the cause is frivolous lawsuits, cases of wrong-place wrong-time or – to be honest – frank cases of stupidity. You would be amazed at how often the plaintiffs of outlandish, ridiculous lawsuits are rewarded – that’s why it’s crucial to have a lawyer and solicitor, like Glenn Duker in your corner – someone you can trust. Below are just a few cases of legal craziness: Teen Trespassers $24m Score: A couple of foolish and incredibly fortunate teens were awarded a massive $24m after they were injured on an industrial site – all of this happening, of course, after they had illegally broken in for a little night-time skateboarding. Michel Jordan Doppelganger: An American man became so fed up with being mistaken for Michael Jordan that he decided to sue both Jordan and the owner of the Chicago Bulls for over $800m. When asked how he came to that figure, his response was priceless, “Well, you figure with my age and you multiply that times seven and, ah, then I turn around and, ah, I figure that’s what it all boils down to.” Batman, Turkey: The residents of the wonderfully named town of Batman in Turkey reacted badly to the recent series of Warner Bros. films directed by Christopher Nolan by suing both Nolan and the company for using the name of their town without permission. Incredibly, they also claimed that the film series was to blame for the unusually high suicide rate among local women. All of this demonstrates that legal trouble can come from the most bizarre, random occurrences and it’s always a good idea to be protected by a lawyer and solicitor you can rely on – someone like Glenn Duker.
