Preserving HUD-Assisted Affordable Housing in the City of Los Angeles (continued) • Subsidized HUD Mortgages expiring over the next 5 years, primarilySection 221(d)(3)BMIR and Section 236. • Those with for-profit notes and Flex Subisdy loans are eligible to prepay and trigger Enhanced Vouchers to protect tenants. • Those without, mostly nonprofit owned, are not eligible for EVs
