  3. Setting • The setting of this book is in Timberland Falls. • Most of this story is in the library. • At Lucy’s house.

  4. Characters • Lucy (Dark)-When Lucy tells lies to her little brother about her imaginary monsters, he believes her. But when a real monster shows up, aver one thinks she's lying. • Randy-Lucy’s brother that gets nightmares about monsters. • Aaron- Lucy's best friend that never believes her. • Mr. Mortman(the monster)- A librarian that turns in a brown, hairy monster that eats bugs and textiles.

Plot • Lucy tells fake monster stores to her friends and little brother. • Mr. Mortman terns out to be a really monster. • Lucy brings her friend Aaron to see the monster (Mrs. Mortman). • Mr. Mortman knows that Lucy saw him tern into a monster. • Lucy’s parents invite over “the monster” to dinner at thare house. • At the end of the story Lucy and her family tern out to be vampires and eat Mr. Mortman.

  6. Conflict \ Resolution • No one believes Lucy see’s a really monster. (vs.) Lucy brings a camera with her to prove it. • Lucy see’s Mr. Mortman change in to a monster.(vs.)Mr. Mortman knows that Lucy saw his secret. • Mr. Mortman wont’s to eat Lucy.(vs.)Lucy’s family ends up eating him.

Theme • The theme of the story is that, don’t lie and when some thing happens, someone will believe you. • This theme represents the book because Lucy tells tales of fake monsters to make people scared. • When Lucy is the only one that sees that Mr. Mortman is a really monster no one believes her.

  8. Personal book Review I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. This book was fantastic with its exiting twist at the end.
