Multi- • Multi-is  something  consists of many things of a particular kind. • Multiracial • Multicultural • Multifunctional • Multipurpose Compound- The Harlem Renaissance was good event for multicultural and so, it made many people happy. Simple-Harlem Renaissance was the big event that multiracial revived.

  3. Fore- • Fore- means to toward up something. • Foremost • Forewarning • Forefeel • Foretell compound- The Harlem Renaissance was foremost a cultural movement and, it was held in the 1920’s. Simple- African Americans were forewarned of their racial difficulties

Hyper- • Hyper- means seriously or obsessively concerned • Hypersensitive • Hyperactive • Hyper-compact • Hyper-enthusiasm At the Cotton Club, Duke Ellington played piano while singing, so people got hypersensitive. He made a lot of money by doing this , and he also became famous. Simple- In the 1920’s, the Harlem community was glittering with hyper enthusiasm and creativity

  5. Self- • Self- is a one’s idenity, chracter, and ability. • Self-esteem • Self-determination • Self-difficulties • Self-concious Compound- African Americans began to strive for civic participation, and cultural self-determination. Simple- The africanamericans faced many self-difficulties.
