  4. Les Invalides 3 • Louis XIV had L’hôtel des Invalides constructed. • He reigned for more than 60 years. • During his long reign, he fought many wars. (c) Patricia Barry 2007

  14. Les Invalides - 13 • This is the red porphyry tomb of Napoléon. • It’s a huge tomb for the man known as « the little corporal. » (c) Patricia Barry 2007
