Explain your five assessments and get your partner to write the numbers in their charts (and put a circle round them to distinguish them from their own list). Compare your charts and discuss the risks, giving reasons for your choices.

Ex:A typical coal power station has an electrical power output of 600–700 megawatts which means it produces around 600–700 megawatts. Ex:A typical unit in a nuclear power plant has an electrical power output of 900–1300 megawatts. Ex:A laborer over the course of an 8-hour day can sustain an average power output of about 75 watts; higher power levels can be achieved for short intervals and by athletes.   27. operating cost (n) Definition: money needed to run a business: expenses associated with administering a business on a day to day basis. Operating costs include both fixed costs and variable costs. Fixed costs, such as overhead (the regular and necessary costs, such as rent and heating, that are involved in operating a business), remain the same regardless of the number of products produced; variable costs, such as materials, can vary according to how much product is produced.
