French class translation: • After a number, to show order (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc) you add ième…ex. deuxième, troisième, quatrième, cinqième • The present participle ending –ant can be added to the verb (after dropping the -ons from the nous form ) if it is modifying a noun, or to describe an action related to the main verb, with preposition “en” • Keep in mind that for present progressive tense you can still use the regular conjugation • Translation is an art, not a science!
