  3. Regional Customers • State of Wisconsin – Badgernet • State of North Dakota – Stagenet • Network Nebraska • State of Kansas - Kan-ed • ECMECC • CMDLN • LCTN • MSET • Numerous Iowa Community Colleges • Numerous Wisconsin Technical Colleges WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  4. Event Offering Allows you to post content for offer that selected groups can sign up for • State of Nebraska (Network Nebraska) uses for both interactive (synchronous) and online (asynchronous) classes. • Same process as scheduling a session for a future time period • Allows end users across a state to see the educational opportunities available. • Most used by guidance counselors in Nebraska to find curriculum in under privileged areas that allow their students to graduate or get dual-credit classes. • Some networks use predominantly for virtual field trips • Maximums are entered (i.e. Number of sites allowed, number of people allowed and a close date). WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  5. Definable Web Fields Unlimited Definable Web Fields allow users to post info about events • These web fields are self-definable and can include file attachments, urls, drop downs, text fields, dates or numerical values • This allows users to see information for events, such as costs, or file attachments and urls that gives more information on the event. WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  6. Joining an Event Offering Users that have been given access to an event can sign up for it. • All event information from the defined web fields is posted here for users to see. • Users, if they have scheduling rights and have been given access to this event, can sign up for it. • When a maximum is met (number of sites, people or close date) it becomes a fixed conference scheduled on the video conferencing hardware. WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  7. Searching for Events You can either search for events or receive emails and RSS feeds about events. • Search by keyword (i.e. Spanish, Calculus…). • Search by timeframe • Search by status (Open, Closed, Waiting List) WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  8. Message Board - ListServ The Message Board allows users to subscribe to forums. • Forums are Courses/Events Requested (terminology in our software is being changed from courses to events), Courses Offered, Room Approvals and other forum topics. • If a user is subscribed they will receive an email regarding the posting. • If a new event offering is scheduled it will automatically by posted here and an email will go out to those that are subscribed. • We have also recently created an RSS feed for events offered that can be used in many different ways. WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  9. Applications • A user could select an event from The Message Board and go directly to the sign up page. WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  10. Partitioning – Policy Management • The ability to give regional groups autonomy over their resources while working with other groups to share curriculum/content. • Users only have functionality on software that is granted to them. • Users can only see sites/rooms/endpoints that they have been granted access to. • Users can only approve sites/rooms/ endpoints that they have been granted approval rights to. • Scheduling can work in a request environment through email • Guest Log-in can be set up • See next two slides for more definition and an example of a partitioning set-up WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  11. Partitioning – Policy Management • Policy based networks • Configurable parameters allow networks to enforce specific policies for each network • User Authentication • Unlimited security levels • Secure Sockets for HTML traffic • Privileges & Room Access Rights • Privileges based on policy • Room Access based on policy • Device Privileges – MCU authorization • Configurable by user or user group • Autonomy • Multiple Customers on shared network WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  12. Partitioning – Policy Management Service Provider Network Administrator Admin Admin Admin Admin State Gov - Dept. of Corrections Tele-health – SISU K-12 - ECMECC K-12 – NESC Scheduling Group Scheduling Group Scheduling Group Scheduling Group WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM

  13. Partitioning – Policy Management Notes to accompany previous slide • Network Administrator can see and schedule everything • Regional Administrators have control over their functional groups • K-12, Higher-Ed and Tele-health can see each others resources. • If one of the above groups request a schedule using a resource outside of their group it needs to be approved by the Regional Admin for that group • K-12, Higher-Ed and Tele-health do not see the Department of Corrections and do not know that they exist and vice-versa. • This is just an example of how the software can be set-up. It can work in a centralized or de-centralized environment or anywhere in between on a scale of 1 to 1000. This allows you to set the policies that you want to enforce across the network. 14. Hardware Control • Renovo Software schedules automates and manages MCUs, H.323 CODECS, MPEG CODECs, A/V routers, Recording Devices (IPVCR, RSS 2000). • Renovo develops to new devices as the market and customers demand. WWW.RENOVOSOFTWARE.COM
