ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION • Which are the priority fields for technical assistance (TA)? • Which are the statistical phases that require more TA? • Which are the most appropriate modes of technical assistance (manuals, training, advisory missions...)? • How can TA on ICT indicators be integrated into other ongoing/planned capacity building activities in statistics? (ex. NSDS, international co-operation, etc.) • How can TA be improved by means of better co-ordination of the National Statistical System? • Can countries be grouped according to needs of TA? • Which countries in the region can provide TA to other?
