  4. Introduction RPG games stand for Role-playing Games. They are very much addictive. A famous example is World Of Warcraft. RPG games allow the player of the games to interact with other players worldwide. This means that the players are playing with complete strangers that they don’t really know, which is actually quite dangerous.

  5. Purpose of study • Identify the general perceptions of RPG players towards the games that they play. • The effect it has on themselves. • How they refrain from being addicted. • Their sense of time while playing it.

  6. Purpose of study We also hope to highlight that RPG is also a social platform and it should get the same attention as other social websites. We wish that we can create awareness among the public no matter the age group because everyone has a part to play in refraining innocent players to mix around with evil people in the games.

  7. Methodology Survey Our group conducted a survey to collect data relevant to our research. The objectives of the social survey conducted on 28th February 2011 were: **To find out the degree of addiction in the RPG players in RI Year 1 students. ** To find out the effects of RPG on the lives or characters of the RPG players in RI Year 1 students.

  8. Methodology  Survey Interviewee:Mr. Paul Lim Reason for choice: • Interaction with students with problems. • Know pupils’ behavior and thoughts well • Plays RPG games too.

  9. Results  Survey From this graph, it can be seen that pupils in the Gifted Education Programme tend to play RPG games more often than others. Sports DSA students do not play as much RPG games.
