Student Technology Mentors- teams are in place to support students and teachers in the use of Web 2.0 tools for instruction in the content areas. • NIM Certified Instructors- 2 teachers from NYCOOL project schools have been newly certified to teach VHS courses. • Two project schools (EBC HS for Public Service and Academy of Urban Planning) are presently enrolling students in a variety of VHS courses beginning in the fall. Students from AUP are taking courses such as Physics, Astronomy and Chinese online! • These schools are addressing diversity and differentiated learning through their creativity and flexibility in programming and scheduling as well as their overall vision in moving instruction forward to mirror real world learning in a digital age. • VHS Memberships- Project schools can receive discounted rates for membership in the Consortium, which offers seats from the VHS course catalogue for their students all year round.
