  11. Bases • Also known as Alkaline. • Taste Bitter. • Turn Litmus paper blue. • Slippery to the touch. • Become less powerful when mixed with an acid( neutralization). 1. Strong bases are corrosive.

  14. 1. 0-6 on the Ph scale are acidic; the lower the number the more acidic. Ph Scale 2. 8-14 on the Ph scale are basic, the higher the number the more basic 3. 7 is neutral on the Ph scale. It is neither acid or base.
