  3. Benefits for Students • For Students: • Helps student learning of course material • Gets them involved in active learning • Raises awareness of current issues • Improves critical thinking skills • Helps gain responsibility

  4. Benefits for the Community • Provides substantial human resources to meet educational, human, safety, and environmental needs of local communities • Lets college students be a good contributor • Creates potential for additional partnerships and collaboration with the campus

  5. VSU Football Volunteer at a VSU football game taking tickets and welcoming people to the game. Making sure people did not sneak people in, to help get money for the athletic program. This community service showed me that you have go out of your way to help a program that will benefit the program you are in.
