DATA SHEET 3 STRAND HAWSER LAID POLYPROPYLENE ROPE Larger sizes up to 72mm available upon request Available in 3 types namely:- White 100% Staple to BSEN 699:1995 Full UV Stabilised and in compliance with the requirements of MGN 106(M&F) covering synthetic fibre cordage used for Life-saving Appliances at sea Blue or White Film (Yarn construction) to BSEN 699:1995 Blue Film (Direct Twist) to standard commercial specification Specific gravity – 0.91 (Floats indefinitely) – Melting Point – 165°C Highly resistant to acids, alkalis and oils but can be affected by bleaching agents and some industrial solvents
