One US Dollar is made up of 100 cents and is represented by the symbol '$' or US$. Apart from the United States of America, the US Dollar is used as legal money in a number of nations alongside the national currency. The US Currency, along with the Euro, accounts for around 90% of global allocated reserves, with the US dollar accounting for nearly 60% of it.
