Issue Statement • In order to address health care inequalities and specialty care access in north Tulsa, the Wayman Tisdale Specialty Health Clinic has been proposed. • Partnerships will be developed with neighboring organizations to improve the health care factors. Goals • To improve overall health of the community • To build trust between OU and North Tulsa • To develop a sustainable operations plan for the Wayman Tisdale Specialty Health Clinic Objectives • To provide services that will address the chronic illnesses affecting the community • To respond to the needs of the community by providing additional services as identified • To have a health care facility that will be a cost-effective operation

Root Cause Analysis • Fourteen years life expectancy in north, west and east Tulsa than in other parts of Tulsa • History of North Tulsa/Northland area • Racism, segregation, economic disparities…. Implementation • The University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine • The University of Tulsa • Morton Comprehensive Health Services, Tulsa Health Department, Community Health Connection, et al.
