  1. Presentation 2 The Beginning of the End

  2. 1 Tim 2:1-4 1 First, I tell you to pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him. 2Pray for rulers and for all who have authority so that we can have quiet and peaceful lives full of worship and respect for God. 3This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all people to be saved and to know the truth. Do you pray for your country, America?

  3. “America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.” Psa. 9:17 The wicked return to the grave, all the nations that forget God.

  6. Great Nations have passed and now lay in ruins Is America exempt?

  7. Daniel Webster, 1903 “If we and our posterity reject religious instruction and authority, violate the rules of eternal justice trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political constitution which holds us together, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us that shall bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” Daniel Webster 2 term Congressman

  8. In 1867 the North American Reviewsummed up the Founding Fathers’ accomplishment: “The American government and the Constitution is the most precious possession which the world holds, or which the future can inherit. This is true—true because the American system of government is the political expression of Christian ideas.”

  9. “Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive of one without the other.”

  10. A speaker from the esteemed Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing said in a scheduled lecture for tourists: “One of the things we were asked to look into was what accounted for the success, in fact, the pre-eminence of the West all over the world. At first, we thought the power of the West was because you had more powerful guns than we had. Then we thought it was because you had the best political system. Next we focused on your economic system.

  11. A speaker from the esteemed Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing said in a scheduled lecture for tourists: Jer 9:23-24 23 This is what the Lord says: "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord. “One of the things we were asked to look into was what accounted for the success, in fact, the pre-eminence of the West all over the world. At first, we thought the power of the West was because you had more powerful guns than we had. Then we thought it was because you had the best political system. Next we focused on your economic system.

  12. “But in the past twenty years, we have realized that the heart of your culture is your religion: Christianity. That is why the West has been so powerful. The Christian moral foundation of social and cultural life was what made possible the emergence of capitalism and then the successful transition to democratic politics. We don’t have any doubt about this.”

  13. ‘Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon ` and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian [dicta]’ ... “this is a religious people. This is historically true. From the discovery of this continent to the present hour, there is a single voice making this affirmation. [465]”... we find everywhere a clear recognition of the same truth... “These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation.[471]” Cite: Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 143 U.S. 457 (1892) 1892 U.S. Supreme Court Church Holy Trinity vs. U.S.

We could not approve the slightest breach.” [Majority opinion in Emerson v. Board of Education, 330 U.S. 1 (1947), last words] Justice Hugo Black

Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
