  3. ALEKS Math • 80% = Math 408C Differential and Integral Calculus • 70% = Math 408N Differential Calculus • 55% = Math 305G Elem Functions & Coordinate Geometry-CNS • <55% = Math 310T Foundations of Mathematics • 30% = Math 316 Elementary Statistical Methods (and other stats courses)

CS 307 Preparedness • variables and data types • expressions, order of operations • decision making– if statements, including boolean logic and boolean expressions • loops (fixed and variable repetition) • procedures or functions • structures or records or objects • parameters (reference and value parameters, local variables, scope, problem generalization) • arrays (vectors, lists) • top down design (breaking big rocks into little rocks) • algorithm and data design • create and implement program of at least 200 - 300 lines of code, with 4 to 8 functions / methods / sub routines / procedures

  9. Dual/Transfer Credit • MUST request transcript be sent to UT. • Grade received will NOT apply to UT GPA. • Professional schools WILL count your dual credit courses in your GPA. • Use Automated Transfer Equivalency (ATE) to determine transferability prior to enrolling in course.

  10. Claiming AP Credit • Not all AP credit will apply to every major (i.e. PHY, STA, EDP) • Talk to Rob or Jenn prior to claiming AP credit. • May affect your application to professional schools. • May affect tuition rebate.
