Jesse Owens and the 1936 Olympics March 10-11, 2014 Objective: Students will analyze the impact that Jesse Owens and the summer games of 1936 had on Nazi Germany and the world through silent discussion and written response. Mrs. Johnson, the 7th grade counselor will speak with us for a few minutes about course selections for 8th grade.

Read: Jesse Owens: My Greatest Olympic Prize Silent Discussion: • This activity is done in complete silence. • Comment and/or answers must be in complete sentences. • More than one student can write at the same time. • Stay seated and silent until Mrs. Dolinger says it is time to move to the next station. Please write very small so everyone has room to respond.
