  4. Welcome To Qatar Overview • You are going to produce a booklet aimed people new to Doha. • The booklet should aim to: • Promote key places in Doha • Introduce people to Doha Unit 1 – Desktop Publishing http://www.yahmad.co.uk/

Welcome To Qatar Requirements • Professional Front Cover • Consistent Headingsand Subheadingsfor each page. • Include Prices and information for certain events • Include a Cultural element • Include something about Food • Include something about Sport in Doha Unit 1 – Desktop Publishing http://www.yahmad.co.uk/

  6. Task 1 - Worksheet • Review the pages from example magazine. Identify at least 3 Positive design features for each magazine. • Refer to the layout and try and identify which tools have been used? Unit 1 – Desktop Publishing http://www.yahmad.co.uk/

Task 2 – Proposal • Complete the Proposal document identifying the following for your Publication: • Aim • Target audience • House Style (Colour Theme) • Text Styles (Heading 1, Heading 2, Main Text) • Information required which is fit for purpose Unit 1 – Desktop Publishing http://www.yahmad.co.uk/

Task 3 - Designs • Create hand drawn/computer designs with annotation for your Front cover and two inside pages of your publication. • Link your designs to Task 1 and identify which positive design features you will incorporate into your Publication.
