  2. The Revealing Work of the Holy Spirit • But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him,” I Cor. 2:9 • “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now . John 16:12

  3. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand God’s Word • Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 • He will teach you all things and will remind you of everything . John 14:26 • He will guide you into all the truth. John 16:13

  4. Guidance and Direction • Led by the Spirit- Romans 8:4 • Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”Acts 8:29. • ..the Spirit said to Him… Acts 10:19 • As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said separate to Me Barnabas and Saul. Acts 13:2.

  5. The Holy Spirit makes the the presence of God evident. • When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. John 15:26 • Then I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

Presence of God is evident • In our weaknesses and prayer life- “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groaning. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God’s will. Romans 8:26-27

  7. Presence of God is evident • In our witnessing- Acts 1:8 • In our preaching and hearing the message of God – I Corinthians 2:4

  8. The Revealing Work of Holy Spirit • Helps us understand the Bible that provides guidance and directions for us. • The presence of God in our weaknesses, in our service to Him is manifested through our daily experience with God.
