3. 3 Managing Local Services Through Qwest Control® Qwest Control makes it easy for you to make changes to your business access line (1FB) accounts.*
Qwest Control provides the means for managing your 1FB accounts from one secure Web site.
Qwest Control enables you to track all your local orders.
Managing 1FB services through Qwest Control effectively allows you to get the most from your Qwest Control services.
*You can only make changes to existing 1FB accounts registered in Qwest Control. This tool does not accommodate other Qwest® business line access products such as Centrex 21.
4. 4 Managing Local Services Through Qwest Control® Through the new Qwest Control functionality, you can add or modify features and packages - including Qwest Choice™ Business - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And because this new feature is based on end-to-end flow-through capability, you can track your online changes in real time in Qwest Control order status.
The new Qwest Control functionality enables your company to:
Place orders
Add local business access lines for existing customer locations (including requesting custom numbers)
Add/remove/modify features and packages (including hunting)
Convert existing lines from simple access to packages
Change long-distance carrier information (PIC/LPIC)*
Check order status
View the status on all Qwest® Corporation (QC) orders including non-access-line services.
*If you have a PIC freeze on your account, you will be unable to make PIC/LPIC changes through Qwest Control. You require a contract with Qwest to order Qwest Long Distance. Talk to your sales representative for more details.
