The Questions • What three questions would you ask if the author if he or she were here? • Why was only Bassorine the one who could destroy the Book Of Mortality? • Why did Grayham have different uses of words and time than Earth when Grayham has existed longer? • Where did the gods come from and did they have special blood?

  3. The Setting What was the setting? How did the author tell you about the setting? • The setting was on a world called Grayham. The three main characters, George, Sam, and Shalee, were to build an empire on Brander, a kingdom which rests on Grayham. That empire was to be Sam and Shalee’s home forever until they die. George was not to come to Grayham.

  4. The Cover Art How did the cover art prepare you for the story? Describe it. Was the illustration accurate? • The Cover Art did prepare me for the book. The Main idea of the book is the Crystal Moon’s disappearance. The cover art has a dragon with a crystal inside of it shaped as a moon. The pieces are all broken up, maybe after all the pieces are returned. The Illustration was accurate since the main idea is the crystal moon trying to return it’s pieces back together safely.

  5. Are we meeting a Character? • If you were able to meet one of the characters, whom would you choose and what would you talk about? • If I were able to meet a character of the book I would choose to meet Shalee, the young sorceress. • I would talk about how was she able to make a new outfit and have everyone be amazed at how dashing she was when she wore it.

  6. The favorite Part • My FAVORITE part is when Sam killed Double D and got respect from his Kingdom. • In the part when this was happening is when Double D was killing Aaron, the person whom was supposed to be the new king of brander. His father was to die and did.
