  18. www.emmegiesse.com The following risks have then been taken into account : Contact of the load chains on the load, the return wheels and the chain guide Contact of the wire rope on the drum and the pulleys Activation of the switches (limit or overload devices) Rope guide Wheels of the trolleys Load hook Belt Wheels in polyamide of the trolleys for the festoons Hand chain Brake pinion on the hand chain blocks Torque limitor on the chain hoists

The standard EN 13463-5 – ‘c’ type of protection – specifies that there is no risk to have a spark when the speeds are inferior to 1m/s. Electro-static tests have been done on the belts. Heating tests have been done on the torque limitors.

  20. www.emmegiesse.com Conclusion : Except the hand chain which has to be in stainless steel, no specific material is required (no bronze). We have now an attestation number delivered by INERIS.
