  1. Sample User Analysis, Part B ITSW 1410 Instructor: Glenda H. Easter

  2. General Characteristics • This user analysis is directed to new employees in positions of customer service or data entry. Through my survey, I learned the level of experience is either beginner or “no experience” primarily because that group has the highest return rate.

  3. Key Concepts of Manual • The purpose of this manual will be to get the audience acquainted with the software used to accomplish their tasks. It will be useful as a reference when questions arise. They will also need to understand that computers are networked and how the information flows from one place to another.

  4. Tasks • Their tasks involve answering questions from customers regarding their account with the company; downloading current information on their accounts; giving out quotes, re-rating their accounts, or uploading and downloading applications.

  5. Problems • Some of the problems they could encounter include invalid communication errors while downloading, modem collisions, or printing problems.
