  1. Aaniish Ezhiwebak Gojiing? Literal translation: “What is going on outside?”

  2. Further Understandings Ezhiwebak means “what is happening or occurring” Gojiing means “outside” “Ezhiwebak gojiing” means “weather” In Anishnabemowin, the phrase “Aaniish ezhiwebak gojiing” is understood as “ What kind of weather is occurring?” or “What is happening with the weather?”

  3. Objective of Lesson • The purpose of this lesson is to teach the five words associated with weather, as well as, how to construct more complex sentences. • Therefore, the word “gojiing” is used along side of the word “ezhiwebek”so that more options will be available to answer the question.
