I have volunteered to work at and raise donations for this event for the past two years
I was able to meet and play with dozens of children and their families from the center
I also participated in the walk with my high school varsity cheerleading team, in which we cumulatively raised over $5,000 for the centerMy involvement
I absolutely loved being a part of this event. Being able to share the experience with my teammates and coaches made it even more special. Getting to know and spend time with children from the center was truly life changing and inspiring- I didn’t stop smiling the whole day! I plan on looking into more volunteer events with Mary Cariola’s Children Center and working with them again in the near future.
