He asked for her personal information using excuses, but Mei was careless as she thought that “there’s nothing bad to know one more friend! We don’t need to see each other, so there is nothing to lose!”

Leo made last-minute excuses to change the place for lunch. Mei might think that it was not good to reject him as she had already accepted his invitation, so she agreed to meet at a new place. This way, Mei was easily led to a dangerous location without realising it.
