  1. Weekly Word Study Homework • You’ve Been Sentenced • Flashy Cards • Write It • Art Attack • Picture This • Same/Different • Poster Child • Quiz Me YOU PICK TWO Each week you will select TWO of the activities to submit the day prior to the Test.

  2. You’ve Been Sentenced Write a sentence using each word. Sentences must: • Use the proper form of the word • Be at least 10 words • Be complete sentences • Be grammatically correct • Be creative • Be written legibly or typed

  3. Flashy Cards flashy Create flashcards (real or virtual) that are awesome to look at (neat and legible) and include: • the Word • a Picture • the Definition

  4. Write It… Write a Story, Poem, or Song • Use the proper form of the word • Be at least 10 sentences/lines/verses • Be grammatically correct • Be creative • Be written legibly or typed

  5. Art Attack Feeling Artsy? • Draw, paint, sculpt, paper mache, sketch (anything you want) something that represents each word.

  6. Picture This… Take a photograph that represents each of the words. • Create a PowerPoint or a Scrapbook Page

  7. Same or Different Find an Antonym and Synonym for each word. Be certain they are written legibly or typed.

  8. Poster Child Find each word in a magazine or newspaper. Create a Poster or Collage using each word.

  9. Quiz Me? Your Choice • Take the Quizlet Quiz OR 2) Create a Practice Quiz
