  2. characters • Simon bloom: Simon bloom is a sixth grader who lives in Bergen county new jersey. One day he finds a book and becomes able to use special powers. But the problem is that someone is coming after them and trying to kill them. • Owen: Owen is a sixth grader who lives in the same neighborhood as Simon. Owen is scared of everything. Owen becomes friends with Simon after Simon saved him from getting beaten up and then learns one spell from Simon. • Alysha: Alysha is a sixth grader also and she lives in there neighborhood and she is one of the cooler kids who doesn’t talk to Simon or Owen but one day in the hall she see’s Simon balancing books on his finger and she gets interested and she finds out that Owen and Simon found this special book and she becomes friends with them and then she learns a spell. • Sirabetta: Sirabetta is a bad guy who is coming after Simon, Owen, and Alysha she is coming after them because she needed the special book. • Ralfagon: Ralfagon is the leader of the order of physics and the real owner of the book.

  3. Setting • The story takes place in Bergen county NewJersey.

  4. Problem • The problem in this story is that Simon, Owen, and Alysha are getting chased by Sirabetta and she is trying to kill them because she needs the book they have.

  5. Solution • The solution to there problem they had when Sirabetta was chasing them was they had to use there powers and defeat her. So she couldn’t get the book.
