  5. Myth #1 Parenting skills are instinctive or inherited • Some skills you must learn • Burping a baby • What to feed a baby • What to do if they are sick Can you think of more? Can you think of any instincts like you must watch a baby’s head?

  6. Myth #2 Parenting is fun • Parenting includes: a) bad times b) boring times c) exciting times d) sad times e) satisfying times f) frustrating times • Give an example for each

  9. 2) What does the reality of children include? • The reality of children includes: • Crying • Teething • Temper tantrums • Dirty diapers • Throwing up • Babies grow up to be teenagers • List some more realities.
