  2. WATER IS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING IN THE WORLD. IN THIS UNIT – Suguna lives at Nallamada, Andra Pradesh. A guest comes to her house and Suguna’s father says that drinkable water is not availabale.

  3. REASON FOR WATER SHORTAGE. There is a water park near Bazaar Goan, Maharastra for children to play and enjoy although there is water shortage for people to fulfill their daily needs. Now-a- days lot of new Water parks have come up in India and water is being wasted for enjoyment.

  4. WE SHOULD ALWAYS DRINK BOILED WATER. Deepak’s mother Pushpa works at Raziya Madam’s house. Raziya tells her that the gutter water has got mixed up with the water in the drinking water pipes and people have got sick with diarrhoea and vomiting.

  5. DIARRHOEA AND CHOLERA • If somebody is suffering from diarrhoea and vomitting, he loses a lot of water from his body. • He should drink lots of water mixed with Sugar and Salt. • This mixture must be sipped slowly. • It is also necessary to take medicine.

  6. RAIN WATER HARVESTING. • For the last three years there have been scarcity of water in Holgundi area in Karnataka. • The village Panchayat was worried. This Panchayat had some special members- Children and was called BHIMA SANGH • BHIMA SANGH solved the problem by repairing a cracked tank and putting it on the hill. • Now rain water could be collected in it and used by the villagers in times of need.
