  3. 1. Cadex Test Procedure Prepare new battery(2~3ea) Step1. Prepare 2~3 good batteries(new parts). • Step 2. Register and set up the Battery SPEC to BatteryShop(=BS) • (BS is PC tool provided by Cadex). • In this time, you should refer to the Battery SPEC List provided by LG. Register battery to BS Step 3. Execute Adaptor Calibration (with Test Composition set for each battery type) Calibrate Adaptor/JIG Step 4. Select Best Battery through “Auto test” Test condition should be same with registered battery spec of Step 2. The result should be ; - Capacity : over 94% - Internal Resistance : meet spec Confirm Good battery Learn • Step 5. In BatteryShop, execute “Learn” with the selected best battery. • Setup Target Capacity(ex. 80%) • In the result of Learn, Capacity value should be over “94/47/0” %. Self-check (by QuickTest) • Step 6. Test “QuickTest” with the best battery which execute “Learn”. • If The result is over 94%, you can trust the result of “Learn”. • Step 7. From now, you can test customer battery. • In BatteryShop, • set up Target Capacity(ex. 80%) and select Station Program “QuickTest”. • Before test, clean the terminal of battery. QuickTest 2/5

  4. 2. The standard of Judgment and Caution • 1. The Standard of Judgment • a. Target Capacity : over 80% • b. Internal Resistance : generally 30mΩ ~ 250mΩ • If test result of Internal Resistance is not normal, • you should do Adaptor Calibration again or you can refer to the each model’s spec and range. • Refer to the Battery SPEC List. 2. Caution for Operation and Maintenance a. Whenever you change or shift the position of Adaptor, Cable, JIG and Cadex Station, you must do Adaptor Calibration again. b. If the result of “QuickTest” is bad(NG), you should check Test connection and the inserted status of battery in the Battery Holder JIG, and then test one more time. c. Change Pogo Pin periodically(3months) and calibrate Adaptor/JIG(weekly). d. Do Voltage Calibration - period : every one year - Voltage Calibration Kit : every 2 year, Calibrated by Cadex(send to Cadex) 3/5
