  15. How can someone stand for Righteousness in an Unrighteous World?

  16. 5 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jehovah Tsidkenu). Jer 23:5-6 (NKJV)

  17. 12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12 (NKJV)

  18. 2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. 3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the Lord of hosts. Mal 4:2-3 (NKJV)

  19. Then, Jesus, the only Righteous One, came to die so that you could be made whole.

  20. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior Titus 3:4-6 (NKJV)

  21. 6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,For they shall be filled. Matt 5:6 (NKJV)

  22. 10Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:10 (NKJV)

  23. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:13-14 (NKJV)

  24. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."[6] Romans 10:10-11 (NKJV)

  25. 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; 1 Cor 15:34 (NKJV)

  26. He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2:24-25 (NKJV)

  27. Jesus is Jehovah Tsidkenu – He is Righteousness that took the form of man, so that through accepting Him, you could be made righteous

  28. He overcame death, hell, and the grave, to present himself as a living sacrifice for our sinsSo that we could stand before God – holy, righteous, and blameless

  29. And don’t forget…..

  30. 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. Rev 19:11 (NKJV)

  31. Are we trusting in Christ for our righteousness – or are we trying to be “good enough” in an effort to earn it?

  32. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Eph 2:8-9 (NKJV)
