  1. Welcome to Naviance 101 Naviance Family connection

  2. Naviance Family Connection can be accessed by clicking on the blue banner on www.ccisd.net. Students will log in using their student ID for their username and their 8 digit cafeteria pin number for their password.

  3. HOMEPAGE Read the home page frequently. Use it to view updated guidance bulletins, keep on top of deadlines, and keep track of other important information that will be posted here. Helpful links can be found on the left side of the Naviance homepage, including Method Test Prep 2.0, College Board, and FAFSA.

  4. METHOD TEST PREP Students – Username is your student ID and password is your 8 digit cafeteria pin #. (This is the same login for your school computer.)

  5. METHOD TEST PREP MTP allows the student to prepare for the SAT and the ACT. This program includes lessons, quizzes, vocabulary, practice questions, and full length exams.

  6. MY PLANNER TAB Use the my planner tab to complete the assigned grade-level tasks essential to the college and career planning process. Students will also continually track their goals (found under the blue Goals tab.)

  7. ABOUT ME TAB Use the about me tab to complete documents essential to the college & scholarship application process: Student Brag Sheet and Resume. (A resume created in another format may be upload as a journal entry.) Students can check their weighted G.P.A. and class rank under profile.

  8. ABOUT ME TAB Students requesting a Letter of Recommendation must complete the Student Brag Sheet. Parents are encouraged to complete their brag sheet also.

  9. CAREERS TAB Use the careers tab to complete career assessments, browse careers and clusters, and add favorites to your list.

  10. COLLEGES TAB Use the colleges tab to order transcripts, view all upcoming college visits, and browse the local and national scholarship lists.

  11. COLLEGES TAB The “upcoming college visits” link is updated regularly. Click on information for details regarding the visit. Click on sign up if you are interested in attending that session.

  12. COLLEGES TAB The “scholarship list” link is updated regularly by CCISD employees and lists all local scholarships. Click on a scholarship for more detailed information.

  14. COLLEGES TAB The SuperMatchCollege Search allows students to search for colleges based on their personal needs and wants.

  15. COURSES TAB Use the courses tab to view your course records and manage your course plans.
