  1. Update1. Transport functions2. RHRS optics Min Huang 11/06/2012

  2. Transport Functions Package • Goal: For simulation of longitudinal target field optics situation (Rseptum:400016) to help identify sieve hole ID • Setting in Snake: 5T longitudinal target field, 400016 septum field map, 2.251 GeV e- trajectories • Fitting functions • Forward: target plane to focal plane; to 8 end-planes in between with apertures to determine which e- can pass through • Reverse: focal plane to target plane • Self checked and compiled in Geant4 • Next: get it double checked with Geant4 test, and see how to work out the simulation

  3. Reconstruction Check Target  focal plane  target, then compare the value with initial value δtheta=0.54mrad δdelta=1.27e-4 δy=0.65mm δphi=0.88mrad

  4. RHRS Straight-thru Optics • Settings • Beam energy 2.253GeV • 0T target field at 6 deg, Gep target magnet config • Good septum • Optics runs • Full delta scan on both arms (-3.5%, -1%, 0, 2%, 3.5% on RHRS)

  5. Matrix Calibration • Adopted the steps from Left calibration last time • Start from initial matrix from Snake, and lowest possible x order of each (theta, y, phi) term

  6. Steps of cuts Tg_y vs. Tg_phvetex cut for the whole run Cut on each hole These two are from #22262dp=0%

  7. Steps of cut 3. Cut carbon elastic for each hole Contamination, like Al elastic C12 elastic C12 1st excited These two are from #22262dp=0%

  8. Matrix Angle Calibration Initial pattern, before calibration

  9. Matrix Angle Calibration After 1st iteration

  10. Matrix Dp calibration

  11. Next • Any suggestions from this meeting • RHRS longitudinal situation?

  12. backup
