  25. Procurement in the Oil & Gas Sector…. • In the current business environment, MONEY is tight and Clients are • looking for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Contractors • that can provide the best product and service at LOWEST cost. • More specifically, research through the years has proved that • in the OIL & GAS Sector, a total EPC Project Cost is split approximately as follows: • 10% Engineering Cost • 50% - 60% Procurement Cost (Materials + Equipment +Services) • 30% - 40% Construction Cost

  26. ….Procurement in the Oil & Gas Sector • It is obvious that obtaining the suitable Equipment ,Materials, Services at the lowest possible cost, will result to the greatest project’s savings. • Therefore, The “Procurement Management” is the KEY to successful Project execution (time, cost, quality).

  27. Procurement process in J&P ….. • J&P has launched a Centralized Procurement structure in order to benefit all the advantages of the “Procurement process” . • The Purchase Orders for the materials / equipment and services required for any project will be handled / issued by J&P’s Head Procurement Office for Oil & Gas Projects in close cooperation with all J&P established procurement offices worldwide.
