    3. District Team – Roles & Responsibilities Increase Schools’ Capacity in: Training Coaching Evaluation Coordination Provide support for – Behavior Management Capacity

    4. District Team – Roles & Responsibilities … continued Responsible for the follow-up on - Training Capacity: Ability to self-assess for specific program & staff development needs.

    5. District Team – Roles & Responsibilities … continued Coaching Capacity: Ability to organize resources for facilitating, assisting, maintaining, adapting training efforts.

    8. To Summarize… This means that the District must be able to address: Training in School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS) Coaching to assist schools in implementing SWPBS Evaluation/Monitoring of systems to measure outcomes Coordination and support of PBIS activities at District sites

    9. - And something else to consider: Funding to support continued implementation Political Support

    10. School Team – Roles & Responsibilities Assessment, Planning, Training, and Monitoring of: School-Wide, Targeted, & Individual Systems Provide support for - Behavior Management Systems

    11. School Team – Roles & Responsibilities … continued Responsible for the follow-up on - School-Wide: Systems that have impact for: - all students - all ages - all functioning levels.

    12. School Team – Roles & Responsibilities … continued Targeted: Systems that support “at-risk” students.

    13. School Team – Roles & Responsibilities … continued Individual: Systems that give access to support and assistance on a timely and effective basis. This is for staff and students.

    14. To Summarize… This means that the School must be able to address: School-Wide Systems by ID’ing 3 to 5 general school-wide expectations or guidelines and applying them in all school environments. Targeted Systems by groups of at risk students and situations, and developing specialized prevention and intervention strategies. Individual Systems by developing processes and procedures that provide effective support for individual students and situations.
