  5. Problem 4 – Version 1(Clearing the fractions) Multiply both sides by 6 (EVERY TERM!) Simplify the fractions Add to each side. Add 18 to each side. Divide each side by 13 (EVERY TERM!)

  6. Problem 4 – Version 2(Leaving the fractions) Add 3 to each side; Also add to each side. Put fractions over a common denominator. Combine the like terms. Multiply each side by Simplify the fractions.
