Pioneer RESA ETC Admission Criteria Candidates wishing to participate in the Online Teaching Endorsement Program must meet the following criteria to be admitted to the program: Each candidate will hold a Clear Renewable Teaching Certificate or Technical Specialist (TS) Certificate (Level 4 or higher) or Permit (Level 4 or higher) in any teaching field and complete other requirements outlined in PSC Rule 505-2-.12 Each candidate will have met the Georgia computer skill competency requirement pursuant to GAPSC Rule 505-2-.08 Special Georgia Requirement; Subsection (1)(f) Each candidate will have the recommendation of their immediate supervisor in the employing school system Each candidate will have a peer recommendation of a colleague employed by a school system Each candidate will have provided documentation of personal and professional behaviors that would indicate the likelihood of being successful in the work for which the online teaching endorsement program is designed to prepare the candidate including a 21st century technology self assessment. If the candidate meets the admission criteria, the following Candidate Eligibility Form must be completed and submitted to the Pioneer RESA Online Endorsement Certification Coordinator. 3/20/2012 Kathy Cox, State Superintendent of Schools “We will lead the nation in improving student achievement.” 8
