  2. WILD • Wild dogs are a whole different thing than domestic dogs. Wild dogs will protect each other. Wild dogs protecting each other are called a pack. Wild dogs are just like wolves. Wild dogs also hunt for wild animals!

  3. APPEARANCE • Dogs have muscles to show that they are a dog. They also have wet noses, 4 legs and they also have ankles. Some dogs have fur and other have hair. All dogs have claws. Some dogs have whiskers and some don't. Some dogs have long tales and some have short tales. Some don't even have tales!!

  4. TRAINING • Owners train there dogs in many different ways. They teach dogs how to understand sign language. When they're young they learn how to sit, lay down and all the tricks that they can learn!!!

  5. SPEED • The fastest dog is the Greyhound Greyhounds can run 7 miles per hour. Another way to say it is the Greyhounds can run 30-35 MPH. Greyhounds can run faster than cheetahs! Dogs are really fast on 4 feet and they are really excellent hunters!

  6. TYPES • Dogs are really popular all over the world. For example, Canada's favourite dogs are: the Labrador Retriever, German Shepard, Poodle and the Shetland sheepdog. The popular dogs in the USA are the Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepard, Dachshund and the Beagle. The popular dogs in Great Britain are the Labrador Retriever, German Shepard, West Highland Terrier, and the Crocker Spaniel.

  7. LIFE • A puppies will be ready to be an adult after about 2 months after birth. When a puppy is born it cannot hear and its eyes are closed. After 10 days their eyes will begin to open. After a month it will have enough muscle to sit and stand by itself! After 8 to 10 weeks, they are ready to leave there parents and find a new home! Puppies like to chew TV remotes, hair brushes to grow adult teeth!

  8. MOTHER • Mother dogs have puppies. A mother dog can have between 6 to 10 puppies at a time. Once a baby puppy is born, the mother licks the baby until its clean.

  9. BODY • It is sometimes hard to tell when a dog is sick, but there is one easy way. If they have a dry nose, that means there sick. Now what is really amazing about dogs, is that they have really amazing noses! They have a million sent! Another part of a dogs body is their ears. They come in really cool different shapes and sizes!

  10. FOOD • Dogs can eat stuff that are only healthy for dogs. They cannot eat human food or else they can get really bad stomach aches and have diaria!

  11. DISIASES • Dogs can get really sick sometimes!for example,if a dog drinks gas it can get REALLY sick and die! Any dog can get rabies. Rabies is a kind of disease that many dogs can get, then then they will bite another dog and the dog that got bit will have rabies. When a dog gets rabies it gets really wild and the owner will have to kill the dog! Big dogs can get sick it they eat dried food! There stomach will start to bloat and they will die! Little dogs can get sick and die if they eat garbage!!

  12. HISTORY • Dogs existed a long time ago! They started hanging around humans at about 40,000 years ago!
